The other concern is how much worse they would perform in dry/warm conditions I am sure they will be way better in that below 60*F range and in wet conditions but I don't want to sacrifice the driving experience in warmer conditions too much. I have 2 concerns with the Conti's I do not like how they don't have anything wider than a 275 I could run up front (285/30 would be too short and 295/40 too tall), but at the same time I do like how I can run a 275/40 to give the front the same tire diameter as the rear(gaining a little more valuable clearance for the front lip). I am only considering the Extreme Contacts because I would like a tire thats a little more 3 season friendly and I am sure the Michelins and BFGs will perform similar to the stock goodyears in cooler temps.
